How to participate

Create an Instagram post about your research. The post must include:

  • A picture of your independent research or creative work.
  • An answer to the question, “What does research or creative work mean to you?” (2-3 sentence statement).
  • Follow and tag @utahtechresearch. Please also tag your department and/or college if they are on Instagram.

 

Submissions will be collected between now and December 11 (end of semester). Awards will be for the Spring semester.

Additional Details

Who can participate: Any student currently doing research or creative activities including art/design with a faculty mentor, or who plans to start/continue in the Spring semester of 2021.

Judging criteria: The photo must show the act of engaging in research or creative activities. The final submission of photo + statement will be used to determine awardees.

Timeline: Photos must be taken from research conducted during the year of 2020.

Photo Release: We wish to add your photos to our collection for professional usage. By entering in this contest, participants are consenting to this release.
