Utah Tech University has a strong focus on undergraduate research and is excited to host the
2022 Utah Conference on Undergraduate Research (UCUR).
Undergraduate students from across Utah are invited to apply to present
on their research or creative works.
Due to continued impacts from the covid-19 pandemic, UCUR 2022 will move to a hybrid format to provide for both in-person and virtual presentations. This may affect your presentation format, which is described below:
Presentation Modes
Oral Presentations – will still be scheduled in sessions as planned, with the presentations being streamed via Zoom to/from the scheduled classrooms and those participating virtually at their scheduled times
Poster Presentations – live posters will be held at their scheduled times (we cannot livestream these), and another session will be scheduled for virtual poster presentations that will allow for 2-3 minute recorded videos and livestream interactions/Q&A with presenters during that session
Exhibits – same as posters
Performances – all performances will be presented as oral presentations with a brief 3-5 minute overview of the research and/or creative process by the presenters, followed by the showing of a recording of their performance (no live performances)

We have two hotels close to campus that have blocked off rooms and provided a special rate for this conference during a busy time of the year for this region. These reserved rataes are available through January 10, and will not be available if you book after that time.
