Utah Tech University

Sponsored Programs

The Utah Tech University Office of Sponsored Programs is committed to providing support for the community via inclusive efforts to strengthen available opportunities.

A more accurate question would be what can’t the Office for Sponsored Programs do? We are able to help with all stages of the proposal cycle. We can provide both hands-off guidance and hands-on participation, helping to design and manifest proposals.

Essential Tip: A signed Proposal Routing Form must be submitted to the Office of Sponsored Programs before any proposal is submitted to a funding agency.

Getting Started

Getting started with a proposal can be a daunting task. Don’t worry, we are here to help! Please start with the following link to help you understand the grant process.

Life Cycle of a Grant

The formative stage is one of the most difficult. The formative phase of a proposal is all about getting your idea figured out.

Once you have your base idea, it is time to enter the pre-proposal stage. This phase focuses on solidifying your focus.

After submitting your proposal and receiving funding, you enter the post-proposal phase. This stage is about award management and keeping your project on track.
